A full time, one-year online Islamic Studies pathway for committed students seeking a deeper understanding of their faith.
Step 01 

Registration

Complete the registration form for Qalam Foundations academic year, and gain access to structured, high-quality Islamic education. There are no pre-requisites or language criteria to register. 
Step 02

10-Day Commitment Free   

Spend up to two weeks immersing yourself in the daily routine of a full-time Islamic Studies student. Get a feel for the curriculum, structure, and workload, and see how it fits into your schedule before committing to the rest of the academic year.
Step 03

Set up a Tuition plan 

We offer flexible monthly payment options to make your learning journey accessible. Our academic advisors are available to guide you through the process and provide additional support as needed.
Step 04

Fall Term

The Fall Term runs from September 7 – December 20, covering core subjects like Qur'anic Studies, Hadith, Fiqh, Theology, and History. Classes are Mondays - Thursdays from 9:00 am-1:00pm CT. With seven courses spread across the week, students engage in structured learning, supported by instructor office hours and TA access for additional guidance.
Step 05

Spring Term

Continue deepening your understanding with more advanced topics and application-based learning. The Spring Term runs from January 5 – May 20 concluding with final exams to ensure comprehension and completion of course expectations. 
Step 06

Certificate Ceremony

Students who successfully meet coursework and attendance requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their dedication to 9 months of full-time Islamic study. A hybrid recognition ceremony will be held in Dallas, TX at the Qalam campus on June 5, 2027 for students and their families to join onsite or attend online.

Class Recordings

Stay organized with scheduled sessions and easy access to live classes. Missed a class? Recordings are uploaded within 24 hours for students to catch up. 

Course Materials

 All course materials such as daily lecture slides or assigned readings are uploaded to the learning portal for easy access throughout the course.

Progress Tracking

Even though students are not required to attend class live, regular assessments and check-ins help reinforce key concepts and track student progress through the year.
