Course Objective
By the end of the course, students will gain a foundational appreciation of the principles scholars have used to understand and reflect on the Qur'an. Students will also cover the major themes and lessons of Juz 30, and develop practical techniques for engaging with the Qur'an. The course will emphasize linguistic and rhetorical features of selected surahs, providing insight into their meanings and applications in daily life.
Student Expectations
Each session will include tafsir overviews, linguistic analysis, and guided reflection techniques, encouraging students to extract spiritual and moral guidance. Additionally, students will receive supplementary reading materials and guided prompts to foster independent contemplation beyond the classroom. The interactive nature of the course, including Q&A sessions and application exercises, ensures an engaging and enriching learning experience.
